Matrix: How to Import Contacts


Note: Your Client’s First Name, Last Name and Email Address will be imported. Your contact will not be imported if any information is missing.

Step 1: To begin, you will need to create an export of your contacts from your client data base system.  Export must contain First Name, Last Name and email address.

Step 2:  To import your contacts into Matrix, click the My Matrix tab and select Contacts.



Step 3: Click Import.



Step 4: Click Choose File to find the file you saved in Step 1, then select Import.

Update existing contacts with imported information Check Box: If this is checked Matrix will attempt to match each imported contact with an existing one, updating contact values when a match is found.​



Step 5: The screen will refresh with your Contact Import Results. Click Done to return to the Contacts Page.
