There are many ways to prospect for new leads and one of the most compelling arguments to potential clients is a data-driven approach. Create different prospecting campaigns through REALTORS® Property Resource’s powerful database, each focusing on a different strategy and appealing to particular kinds of potential clients.

Prospecting using Sold Listings
Recently sold homes are a perfect opportunity to show the competitive market to nearby interested potential sellers.

- Add relative criteria, such as Location, “Closed” Status, and Property Type.
- You can use the Drawing Tools to create a custom boundary.
- Print the map or select Create Report to create a Residential Market Activity Report.
Prospecting using New Listings
When the neighbor’s house goes up for sale, homeowners are curious about how much their own property might be worth in comparison. Use a new listing or a simple market activity report to build awareness of new listing trends to encourage other property owners to list.
- Start a Map Search
- Add relative criteria, such as Location, “Active” Status, and Property Type
- You can use the Drawing Tools to create a custom boundary
- Print the map or select Create Report to create a Residential Market Activity Report
Prospecting by Time Owned
Owners who have been in their homes longer may have more equity, and may be more likely to list. You may be able to use this opportunity to inform those potential clients about the market before they decide to sell.
- Start a Map Search.
- Add relative criteria, such as Location, Public Records, and Property Type.
- Select More Filters to add Owner Occupied/Time Owned.
- You can also use the Drawing Tools to locate a cluster or view the list of results to learn more about each property.
Note: Select Mailing Labels to create a CSV export of the results and/or select Save to keep the search for future use.
Prospecting for Renters-to-New-Buyers
Most prospecting campaigns focus on homeowners, but you can also try to find renters who are looking to become buyers. Applying filters to search for absentee owners means you could find renters who are considering buying and/or investment properties that an owner might want to sell.
- Start a Map Search.
- Add relative criteria, such as Location, Public Records, and/or Property Type.
- Select More Filters to add Absentee Owner.
- You can use the Drawing Tools to locate a cluster or view the list of results to learn more about each property.
Note: Select Mailing Labels to create a CSV export of the results and/or select Save to keep the search for future use.
